Hello Beauties! It’s been a whirlwind couple of months, I just got married beginning of this year, and my other siblings also got married (all within 6 months)! It’s been crazy, to say the least. Today, I have a very special post regarding how important taking care of your skin is as a bride-to-be (and in general). As I was preparing for my own wedding I realized how important the health of your skin was – so I wanted to share some of my takeaways. Remember, the makeup will only look as good as the skin it is applied over.
Whenever my sisters and I step out of the house, we are constantly stopped and asked about our hair. Taking good care of your hair is so important, especially since it’s the only head of hair you have! Today, I want to share some of our tips and tricks on how we manage and maintain our hair.
One of the major questions people always seem to ask is, whether it is important to clean your makeup brushes regularly. A quick answer to that is, YES YES YES! I know it can be a daunting task to sit there and clean ALL of your daily makeup tools. However, just as we should take care of our skin we should take care of our brushes as well. Today, I want to share the importance of keeping your brushes clean that does not only benefit you, but also the longevity of your everyday tools. I also want to give some of my tips and tricks on how to clean your makeup tools – including your sponges (or Beauty blenders)! Because this post is so important, and I want to make sure I share enough detail with you all, this post may be longer than usual! So, let’s get started, shall we?
Today I want to share some advice as well as an amazing drugstore find that will change the way you think about removing your makeup. After a long day at work, or a long night out, the last thing on your mind is taking your makeup off. Trust me, I understand the major struggle involved in trying to get yourself motivated to take your makeup off. Although it can be a very daunting task, or even sound like something that shouldn’t be such a big deal, it is essential.
Every woman has probably had this happen to them at some point. You start to feel a pimple underneath the surface of your skin. Possibly brewing under your skin for weeks but, deciding to make an appearance the weekend you make some plans to go OUT of the house! Well, fear not ladies, I have a quick and easy solution for you!
No makeup look is complete without perfect eyebrows, and finding the best eyebrow pencil can be clutch to your eyebrow game. With so many eyebrow products on the market it can be difficult to gauge which product to use.
Welcome back Glam Girls! Today I will talk about one of my FAVORITE skincare devices and cleansers. I’ve tried many skincare devices – the spin brushes, clarisonic, the olay brush, etc. There is one device called the FOREO Luna Mini which I absolutely love to use to cleanse my skin. I want to share with you my thoughts regarding this device since it has been part of my skincare routine for over a year now.
Today I am going to share with you one of my FAVORITE eyeshadow palettes which never disappoints!
A few months ago I purchased the Tartelette eyeshadow palette, and I have to say I’m very impressed! I see myself gravitating towards this palette every day since I purchased it. The reason I chose to purchase Tartelette in the beginning was that it provided me with all matte eye shadows with all very attractive colors. I never owned an all matte eyeshadow palette before so I was definitely intrigued.
Welcome Back Glam Girls!
So today I will be talking about another skincare favorite of mine. One thing I ALWAYS do is wash my face after getting home, followed by toner, and moisturizer. I am one of those people who can’t stand having makeup on my face after getting home (unless I know I will be leaving the house again). I like letting my skin breathe after a full day of makeup. (Trust me, it needs to rest!) Over a year ago, I decided to make a change to my skincare routine. I still use a toner, however, I switched to alcohol free Witch Hazel. In the past, I used any toner from the store like Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Toner, (or anything I could get my hands on) however, I noticed that it tended to dry my skin out (because of the alcohol content) – especially in the winter time.
